Hey, I’m Hannah!
I’m the owner, nature lover, and crafter behind n’Grained!
I’m a northeast gal that recently moved to Colorado, with my husband and our lab-mix pup, Lily! I was born and raised in Massachusetts, spending most of my childhood exploring the special spots between coast and inland MA, NH, ME and VT! Because growing up as an only child, art and the outdoors became my sanctuary with ease. I learned at a young age how vital both, when connected, are to my mental health!
As an “adult” (I use that title loosely), for stability sake, I worked in the graphic design industry for 10+ years. But, I carried around a lingering energy that I was ‘wasting time’…It ate at me. Sitting at my desk in a modern corporate office, with only a keyboard and mouse as my creative tools, I felt stuck. My brain wanted to be on a trail, and hands in a messy studio…
Our move to Colorado cleared the path to finally put all my years of collected energy and learned skills into n’Grained, FULL TIME!
With my curiosity and awe for the outdoors, plus my love for drawing, painting and metalsmithing, I’m able to re-align with myself and my purpose. Through my work, I hope to bring you along in exploring and connecting with the western part of the country, while holding my deep love for the northeast.
