•ABOUT•

Hey, I’m Hannah (and that’s Lily)!

I am the heart of n’GRAINED! Originally from Massachusetts, I now embrace the stunning mountains of Colorado with my husband Jake and our dog Lily. My journey is rooted in the Northeast's rich craftsmanship tradition, which I honor in every piece I create!

Nature, art, and connection fuel my passion. After a decade in graphic design, Jake and I agreed it was a good time to fully commit myself to n'Grained, as of this past summer of '24! It was a much needed space to let my creativity flourish beyond corporate constraints. My nature journals are now filling faster with sketches and notes of my curiosities and sights along our outdoor adventures, inspiring designs that are intended to stoke our one-ness with the natural world!

Each piece in my shop balances wilderness grit with a little grace, featuring my signature 'Trail texture', aged finishes, and natural gemstones that celebrate the kaleidoscope of colors from Mother Earth. As a devoted artisan, I cherish the intimate journey from raw materials to cherished treasures, infusing every creation with the tactile beauty of handcrafted metals, original illustrations (check out the n’Capsule collection), and vibrant gemstones.

My goal is to craft unique, wearable mementos that reflect our one-ness with nature. Our grandest teacher.

In addition to my craft, I genuinely cherish the deeper bonds formed with you, the loyal supporters of n'Grained - my 'Grainers! While I love giving you glimpses of my journey on Instagram, I want to offer you more. Through (occasional) exclusive emails, and more detailed reflections on my Between the Grain blog, I share early updates, and musings between trail and studio!

The human condition is the need to be creative in some fashion...that’s what humanity is all about.
