Do you take custom requests?

I do not regularly take on custom work that are outside of the available design offerings in my shop. However, please send me an e-mail (hannah@hngrained.com) if there is a special project you'd like to work on with me, for consideration!

How do I wear and care for Hannah n'Grained pieces?

Part of my signature is a darker, well-worn, finish. Varying levels of patina are added in the end-stages of crafting the pieces, to achieve this. For safety, I use liver-of-sulfur. In instances that require fine detail, I'll use a small amount of enamel. Most patina'd components are buffed with beeswax to delay wear and protect!

WEAR
You can expect some degree of tarnish over time. Sterling silver, brass and copper all naturallytarnish with exposure to elements, and contact with our body oils. Some like this look as signs of the journey its taken with you!

CARE
To slow down the tarnish process, remove before exposing to harsh elements (like salt air/water, cleaning chemicals, chlorine, etc.) + store your pieces in the jewelry pouch they arrived in!

To re-brighten areas that are not heavily patina'd, you can lightly scrub with a toothbrush + dish soap + water. (I do not recommend polish clothes with "polishing" agents in them, or any chemical polishing. Especially items with stones.)

Can I have my order gift wrapped?

Good news! All items already ship as, what I consider to be, "gift ready" and re-usable packaging! I do not include a receipt in order, however I do like to include a note in the shipping envelope, as a thank you to the ordering customer!

What are your shipping options?

USPS Flat Rate $10 (approx. 3-4 biz. days transit)
USPS Priority (approx. 2 biz days transit)

Fulfillment time is as follows, unless directly communicated to you - because life happens...

(RTS) Ready-to-Ship Items: are typically packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days of your order being received
(MTO) Made-to-Order Items: are packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days of your order being finished. MTO pieces are made only upon receipt of your order. While I do everything to not delay crafting your special piece, the actual crafting time can vary, since I'm a one-woman-show! Close approximation's are noted in the individual item listing(s). If that time is different, I will update you asap!

Do you accept returns?

I stand by my craft, and your joy from my work! If you are not happy with your purchase, on *qualifying items I offer studio credit, or exchange for a piece of equal value of item at time of purchase.

QUALIFYING ITEMS
All pieces that do not include custom selections or design that can't be un-done (ex. Custom painted n'Capsule pendants, or engraving etc.)

RETURNING/EXCHANGING
E-mail me within 7 days of order receipt + return items (in original condition) within 14 days of order receipt. *Shipping costs for returns/exchanges are your responsibility.

DAMAGED UPON ARRIVAL
Though I feel confident in the steps I take and protective nature of the packaging I use, accidents can happen in transit. Should an item arrive broken, please e-mail me within 3 business days of receipt and must include pictures of damage to item(s) and/or broken packaging (to help support a claim with carrier). I'll work with you to do my best to remedy the damage.
