The Collection
Ecologists actually recognize our temperate climate having six, not four, seasons! Hibernal Season (winter) is the first of the collection, and I plan to complete it by crafting a unique design for each, as the season arrives (prevernal, vernal, estival, serotinal, autumnal, and hibernal). These will be made in limited runs at a time, with intent to have released one for each season by the end of 2025!

The Design
I handcraft each coin from Sterling Silver, having pulled inspiration from the coins once minted and traded in Massachusetts, where I grew up! I’ll be designing each seasonal coin with an icon at center, representative of the specific season, and the proper name around the edge - similar to those mid 1600’s shilling’s.
